Motion Visual Media is a Charlotte-based visual content studio offering brand films, brand photography, ongoing content production, Proud to Pay portrait sessions, and professional AI headshots. We tell stories for a living. We do not trade in data. This policy covers what we collect across our services and what we do with it.
What we collect, and why
- Inquiry forms: when you submit a project inquiry or Proud to Pay request, we receive what you type. This may include your name, email, phone, company or brand, project details, contribution preference, availability, and the story you choose to share. We use it to respond, assess fit, and coordinate the work.
- Email: if you write to us, we keep the correspondence as an ordinary business record.
- Payments: processed by Stripe. Your card details never touch our systems. We see order or invoice amounts, status, and your receipt email.
Client work
Photos and films we produce for you are governed first by your project agreement. We use client work in our portfolio or marketing only with permission, and unreleased client material is never shared publicly.
AI Headshots
Our AI headshot service involves uploading personal photos, so it carries its own dedicated, more detailed policy. It includes private storage and automatic deletion schedules (reference photos within 7 days, finished files after 30). Read it at headshots.motionvisualmedia.com/privacy.
What we never do
- We never sell or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
- We never use your photos or likeness to train AI models.
- We run no advertising trackers and no cross-site cookies on this site.
Service providers
We keep our stack small: Netlify hosts this site and stores form submissions, Stripe processes payments, Supabase provides private storage for the headshot service, and page fonts are served by Google Fonts. Each receives only what its job requires.
Retention & your choices
Inquiry submissions and correspondence are kept as ordinary business records. Want something deleted, or a copy of what we hold about you? Email hello@motionvisualmedia.com. A real person will take care of it, usually within one business day.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above.
